If this happens, a software update may solve the issue. But before you go through that process, we recommend trying a soft reset of your TV instead.<\/p>\n
To complete a soft reset on your TV, simply unplug it, wait for a minute, and then plug it back in. If your problem persists, updating the software (or \u201cfirmware\u201d) may fix it.<\/p>\n
Get the latest features<\/h3>\n
Of course, updating your TV isn\u2019t always about solving issues. Updates can include:<\/p>\n

JVC smart TVS have three different operating systems:<\/p>\n

If your home screen has the word \u201cRoku\u201d in the top left and looks like the below, it\u2019s a Roku operating system.<\/p>\n

If your home screen doesn\u2019t look like either of these, it\u2019s likely an older JVC television that uses its own operating system.<\/p>\n
How to update Android on your JVC smart TV<\/h3>\n
Here\u2019s how to update your JVC smart TV for Android operating systems:<\/p>\n
1. Click on the \u201cHome\u201d button on your remote to take you to the home screen<\/p>\n
2. Scroll across to the \u201cSettings\u201d button on the top right of the screen (shown below), and click:<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n7. The software will start downloading. Depending on how fast your internet connection is, this can take a while. So you might want to grab yourself a coffee!<\/p>\n
